<itunes:summary>Humour is a serious business in Yemen. In a country where illiteracy is high and official news is deemed untrustworthy, political satire poking fun at Yemeni officials has mushroomed since the country's 'Arab Spring'. At the the forefront of it is Mohammed al-Ruba'a, who is a comedian, TV producer and presenter of Against the Tide which broadcasts regularly on the opposition channel Suheil TV .</itunes:summary>

<itunes:subtitle>Chagas is a deadly disease that has affected million of people, but one Argentine doctor is trying to stop it.</itunes:subtitle>
<itunes:summary>It is deadly, it is spreading quickly and most of the world has never heard of it. Chagas, a parasitic disease is spread by the vinchucas bug bite. In rural Argentina villagers speak of "muerte subita" or rapid death caused by Chagas. It can eat away at the cardiac muscle until the patient's heart ruptures. It can devour the intestinal wall leading to toxicity and massive internal bleeding. It is incurable in adults and while it is not always fatal it is almost always debilitating. Chagas affects about 18 million people worldwide, most of them in Latin America and may kill as many as 50,000 each year. With more and more rural to urban migration the disease is migrating as well. While it is easy to diagnose with a blood test, it presents few obvious symptoms so many of those infected may never be properly diagnosed or treated until the disease attacks.</itunes:summary>

<itunes:subtitle>How are the Ukrainians challenging the powerful Oligarchs and Russia controlling their country?</itunes:subtitle>
<itunes:summary>Ukraine, the biggest country in Eastern Europe is sandwiched between Russia and the West. It was a vital player in the downfall or the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) in 1991. And the Orange Revolution in 2004 ended the corrupt autocratic pro-Russian regime. But six years later, through the newly elected president Yanukovich, head of the Party of Regions, it has returned to the grips of its powerful oligarchs and Russia. So the people got neither the rule of law nor the democracy they had imagined.</itunes:summary>

<itunes:subtitle>This documentary filmed in 2009 follows Malala Yousafzai, a Pakistani girl through a perilous six months as she loses her education, is forced into exile and faces an uncertain return back home in Swat Valley, Pakistan.</itunes:subtitle>
<itunes:summary>On October 9, 2012, masked gunmen ambushed a van carrying schoolgirls home in Pakistan's Swat Valley. They shot 14-year-old Malala Yousafzai at point blank range in the head and neck leaving her in critical condition.

The Taliban in Pakistan claimed responsibility for the attack and vowed to "finish the chapter" in Malala's story.

Bringing and end to education for girls has long been one of their goals. The young activist was only 11 when she first stood up to the Taliban and despite numerous threats she continued to speak out against them.

This documentary filmed in 2009 follows the journey of Malala and her father as the deteriorating security situation forces them to leave not just their home in Swat Valley but their life's passion.</itunes:summary>
